There is a big competition on for the Telugu rights of Rajini-Aishwarya starrer Endhiren-The Robot. The flick’s producer Kalanidhi Maran is said to have decided not to allow the rights for less than Rs 30 crore for the Telugu version.
While Bellamkonda Suresh, who earlier distributed Rajini-Shankar’s Sivaji, is said to have quoted Rs 22 crores for Robot’s Telugu rights, followed by another producer with Rs 23 crores. However, a consortium of three producers were said to have quoted Rs 26 crores. At this juncture, the settlement is expected in a few days. The combination of Rajini-Aish-Shankar-AR Rahman took the film’s business to an all-time high this time in Tollywood industry.
