It’s official now! Contrary to earlier reports that Gautham Menon may not direct ‘Thala’ Ajith’s 50th film, the director has now confirmed that he will soon begin his next project with Ajith. Produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri, this is believed to be a police story. Ajith has played a cop in Anjaneya, but the film was not too successful, so we hope it’s time Ajith tastes success in this thrilling cop story. This film will have one more highlight: music by the Mozart of Madras, A.R. Rahman. Interestingly, this will be the first time that Rahman will compose music for a full-fledged cop story in Tamil. The ace director is said to be planning an edge-of-the-seat thriller which will crown ‘Thala’ as the new James Bond of the South.
It is reported that the director is considering ‘Kaaval’, ‘Khaki’ and ‘Police’ for the title.
