Music Maestro AR Rahman is one who believes in the holy relationship called friendship. He has many times gone out of the way and helped his friends who are in need of him with his music.
One of the best friends of AR Rahman is director Kathir who made films like ‘Kadhal Desam’, ‘Uzhavan’, ‘Kadhalar Dhinam’ and ‘Kadhal Virus’. The USP of all these films was Rahman’s music. But unfortunately the films did not ring at the box office even though the songs became super duper hits.
Director Kathir who is still looking for that big break in Kollywood again approached his good friend ARR for his new project called ‘Maanavar Dhinam’. The great man he is, AR Rahman agreed in spite of knowing the fate of Kathir’s earlier films.
When all the woods of the world are waiting for AR Rahman, the maestro has started working on the music of ‘Maanavar Dhinam’. Hope is life, you see.
After all it is AR Rahman who said “moozhgatha shipe friendshipthaan†(the ship that can never be sunk is the friendship) that too interestingly in a Kathir film ‘Kadhal Desam’.
