ARR Denies Collaboration With Usher And Dido

A.R. Rahman, Oscar winning Indian composer says though, he is working with U&B star Usher and pop singer Dido but for a different project and the so called collaboration will be just uptill then. Rahman clarified that they have not come together for his album.

Rahman is on the world tour, and is presently in London. He said, “I will be collaborating with Usher and Dido, but it is not for my next album as everyone is saying. It is for some other project, the details of which I can’t reveal yet. I’m concentrating on my world tour right now, and my work on the collaboration will start after it is over,” he added.

Rahman is touring the US and Europe as part of his “Jai Ho Concert: The Journey Home World Tour” concert.

The 44-year-old has already worked with music gems like Andrew Lloyd Webber, Kylie Minogue, Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat Dolls, Quincy Jones and Lionel Ritchie.

Rahman is supposed to be one of the most downloaded composers in Britain. He will be performing for his fans there at LG Arena in Birmingham on July 23, O2 on July 24 and Wembley on July 25.

Apart from winning the Oscars, the composer who is also known as the “Mozart of Madras”, has won a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe and two Grammy Awards.
