Oscar and Grammy-winner Indian composer A.R. Rahman’s highly-anticipated show, ‘The A.R. Rahman Jai Ho Concert: The Journey Home World Tour’ is currently in Europe. Earlier some shows in the US and Canada were cancelled after a stage-collapse incident in Detroit disrupted the tour schedule.
A.R. Rahman will soon meet his fans and media persons in London ahead of his musical tour of Britain later this month.
The European leg of the tour will kick off in Zurich on July 16, followed by concerts in Paris and Mannheim. The concerts in Britain will take Rahman to the LG Arena in Birmingham July 23, with the closing weekend July 24 and 25 in the two biggest arenas in London: the O2 and Wembley.
This concert is produced by Deepak Gattani from Rapport Productions. Well-known choreographer-director Amy Tinkham, who has worked on the live musical concerts for the pop icons Paul McCartney, Madonna, Britney Spears, Dixie Chicks and Motley Crue, has teamed up for the tour.
