Oscar winner A R Rahman absorbed in work at A M Studios in Kodambakkam, Chennai.
This is where Rahman composed the music of Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra's Rang De Basanti.
Located very close to A R Rahman's home, the studio houses equipment like the Euphonix System 5 Audio Mixing system.
The studio has been designed by Studio 440 and the state of the art equipments are from Daxco Digital.
A R Rahman's team includes acclaimed sound engineers of Chennai film music including the late H. Sridhar, S .Sivakumar, Aditya Modi, A.S. Laxmi Narayanan, his manager Noell James, and co-ordinator Samidurai.
The studio was inaugurated by A R Rahman in 2005. The recording area of the studio can accommodate upto 30 musicians at a time.
